Jared Guberman
 

Ultimate Kicking Academy Founder and President

Former All-America kicker for the University of West Georgia. Guberman had a much heralded two year career at UWG.  In 2007, Guberman became the 18th West Georgia player to earn All-America recognition, and is the first UWG kicker ever to earn the distinction. In 2008, Guberman continued his success on the field earning the distinction of All-Gulf South Conference punter. Guberman majored in Business Management and graduated in December 2008.

Career Highlights

Pro Career

  • 2009 = South Georgia Wildcats (Arena Football League 2). Guberman was 86-of-98 on PAT ranking him seventh in percentage (87.8%). Guberman had 113 kickoffs for a 52.0yd avg with 24 touchbacks.

College Career:

  • 2008 = Started all 10 games at the University of West Georgia as kicker and punter. Guberman connected on 9-of-14 field goals (3 blocked) and 13-of-13 on PAT. He averaged 39.4 yds per punt, including 15 punts that pinned opponents inside their own 20-yardline. Because of his great punting, Guberman earned the honor of All-Gulf South Conference Second Team punter.
  • 2007 = Started all 11 games at the University of West Georgia as kicker and punter. Guberman connected on 15-of-17 field goal attempts, an accuracy mark of 88.2% that was the best in the Gulf South Conference and one of the top in the nation. He averaged 38.6 yds per kick, including 23 punts that pinned opponents inside their own 20-yardline. His longest punt was 74 yards which ranked 3rd in school history and 6th in conference history. 
  • Transferred mid-year from VSU to the University of West Georgia. First semester at UWG was Spring 07
  • 2006 = Played in the last game of the regular season at VSU where Guberman had one kickoff vs. Arkansas-Montincello.
  • 2005 = Did not see playing time
  • 2004 = Redshirted at Valdosta State University

High School Career:

  • Attended Spanish River High School(6A) in Boca Raton, Florida
  • 4 year letter winner in football and soccer
